Special Assembly Meeting (at Library)

Location: Haines Borough Public Library

Sole Purpose: Consider selection of the new borough manager (the assembly will disclose the interview content and results)

Note: This is a public meeting, but a portion of it may take place in Executive Session, if necessary; it is eligible because a frank discussion of the finalists in an open meeting could prejudice the character of those involved.

The following other events pertaining to the recruitment of a new borough manager have been scheduled.  This information is being provided because the public has a right to know when the elected officials are meeting as a quorum or the possibility of a quorum exists.

Friday, 5/13

3:00-5:15pm - ASSEMBLY WILL PAIR UP TO INTERVIEW CANDIDATES

Location: Borough Administration Building

Note: These sessions are not open to the public

5:30-6:30pm - PUBLIC OPEN HOUSE “MEET & GREET” Manager and police chief candidates

Location: Haines Borough Public Library

Note: Public welcome to come meet the candidates & ask questions

7:00pm - ASSEMBLY/CANDIDATE DINNER

Note: This is strictly a social event and is not open to the public (no action will be taken)

Saturday, 5/14

8:00am-1:30pm - MAYOR/ASSEMBLY, STAFF GROUP, AND CITIZEN GROUP WILL INTERVIEW CANDIDATES FOLLOWED BY A WORKING LUNCH
