State of Alaska Special Primary Election- June 11

The State of Alaska has called a statewide special election to fill the vacant U.S. House of Representative seat. The Primary election day will be June 11 and the Special General Election day will be August 16.

The Special Primary Election in June will be conducted by mail but absentee-in-person (early) voting will be held in the Haines Borough Administration building as follows:

Friday, May 27 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday, May 31 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, June 1 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday, June 2 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday, June 3 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Monday, June 6 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday, June 7 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, June 8 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday, June 9 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday, June 10 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

**You must be registered to vote on or before May 12 to be eligible to vote in this primary election.**

Ballots are scheduled to be mailed to voters on April 27.
