Parks Appreciation Day

Please join us in celebrating the first annual Park Appreciation Day at Picture Point.  

Saturday, August 11th  

12pm-3pm 

This fun, free event hosted by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and Community Youth Development will feature DIY driftwood artwork, a scavenger hunt, hotdogs, and more! 

If you are unfamiliar with the area, Picture Point Park is the pull-out at the corner of Lutak Road just after the Front Street intersection as you are driving out to the ferry terminal. A beautiful "Welcome To Haines" sign and new restroom facilities are present. Hope to see you there!
