In the December 2020 Winter Storm the State of Alaska and the President of the United States declared a disaster for Public Assistance. These projects are in varying stages of Design and Engineering, and the FEMA approval process.
The Fish Passage Culverts are three culverts on Chestnut Dr, one each culverts on East Fair Drive, and Sunshine Street. Project includes replacement/repair of existing and temporary culverts damaged in the December 2020 event to meet ADF&G fish passage design criteria.
Status Updates
On 12/9/21 the Planning Commission approved 35% plans and we expect to present 65% plans for approval shortly. We are targeting 2022 bidding and construction.
This project will go out to bid on 8/3/2022 with a closing date of 8/31/2022.
