• adjustments to 2023 assessments: any, what, why, how;
• amendments to Haines Borough code governing assessment processes and land department;
• working with legislators, State Assessor’s office and Alaska Municipal League to influence assessment processes statewide;
• composition of future Board of Equalization;
• use of private appraisals in BOE process;
• commercial bank engagement on matters of local assessments;
• ways to address negative effects of regressive tax policies;
• more complete information for property owner when assessment cards are mailed out;
• Credits/Hardships exemption limits
• any other issues
