The Haines Borough is looking for Borough residents from diverse backgrounds willing to donate their time, talent and energy to serve on a Haines Borough Committee, Board or Commission. Haines Borough has several citizen advisory committees that cover a wide range of topics and appeal to a variety of interests. The Mayor and Borough Assembly rely on these volunteer citizen groups for thoughtful advice to create policies and develop programs. You must be a Haines Borough resident.

These are mayor-appointed positions. If you are interested in being considered, please submit either a letter of interest or the appointment application form available from the Borough Clerk. Resumes or a detailed description of qualifications are strongly encouraged. Applications are accepted throughout the year for all committees, boards and commissions and will be kept on file.
