Haines Comprehensive Plan Revision: Transportation Stakeholder Dialogue

Purpose:         To convene transportation leaders and representatives to identify and discuss key trends, challenges, and opportunities in the Haines Borough. This input will inform revised transportation goals, strategies, and actions in the Haines Borough Comprehensive Plan.

Discussion Questions: (Please note: our team is reviewing existing resources in preparation, including any transportation-focused data, plans, reports, or studies)

1. How satisfied are you with the quality and maintenance of Haines’ roads, sidewalks, harbors, airport, and trails?
2. What are the community’s transportation challenges, needs, and/or opportunities? For example:
   1. How does transportation affect the quality of life for residents and businesses in Haines?
   2. What are the future facility needs for the Haines marine transportation system, including docks and harbors?
