CIP Suggestions

Do you have ideas for CIP projects for the Haines Borough? We want to hear your ideas. The Haines Borough has significant infrastructure needs which would benefit from a coordinated, prioritized plan. Once the projects are identified and prioritized, potential funding sources can be identified. We believe that by encouraging the public to engage in Haines Borough project development, we will:

  • Identify new projects.
  • Learn new and perhaps novel ways of approaching community needs.
  • Learn about community priorities.
  • Learn about needed projects in communities outside of town like Excursion Inlet and Mosquito Lake.
  • Create a public method to select and prioritize projects.

After submission, projects will be evaluated, developed and scored. Please submit your proposal by Friday, February 20th for funding consideration in FY27.
