The Haines Borough is accepting applications for a full-time, year-round Water/Sewer Operator. The range is W-S Operator in Training - Water/Sewer Operator II (depending on experience). This position is under the direct supervision of the Water/Sewer Supervisor and will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the water and sewage systems, as directed.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma (or equivalent) and ability to get Provisional Water/Sewer certifications within one year.
Wage & Benefits: The starting wage is $24.16 - 32.66 per hour, depending on qualifications; excellent benefits including medical insurance and retirement. Eligible for Union Membership.
