The Haines Borough is accepting applications for a Seasonal Port Security Officer. This position works under the supervision of the Harbormaster. Example of duties include meeting cruise ships, check passenger credentials and perform security rounds.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, administrative/paperwork experience and/or abilities, an ability to work with the public, and a valid Alaska Driver's License. Have or obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential within 30 days. Experience in the workings of ports and harbors would be a plus.
Wage: Starting wage is $22.25 - $24.98 DOE. PERS qualified; union optional.
